AJA Io LD
A smaller and lower cost version of AJA's award winning Io, Io LD is designed to work with SDI digital systems, providing the highest quality video/audio interface to Mac OS X desktop systems running Final Cut Pro.
Io LD supports full 10-bit uncompressed video on digital inputs--and analog outputs and inputs. Io LD can be used in a desktop configuration or mounted in an optional 1-RU mounting bracket. Io LD and LA systems can grow along with you; start with either and then add the other in the future if you need a greater variety of inputs/outputs. Using the optional rackmounting kit, you can even mount them both together in an attractive rack chassis configuration.

  • RS-422 Control Port (Sony), 9-pin D, for machine control.
  • 10-bit uncompressed SDI In/Out with embedded audio. Two SDI outputs are provided for flexibility.

  • Two channels of 24-bit digital audio out, via S/PDIF connector.

          cable (24-bit D/A conversion).

    • AJA Io LA
    Also part of the award winning Io family, Io LA is designed for analog component or composite systems. Io LA gives you the highest quality 10-bit video available on all analog inputs and outputs. Like Io LD, Io LA can be used in a desktop configuration, or mounted in an optional 1-RU mounting bracket. Io LA fully supports Apple Final Cut Pro on Mac OS X.

    AJA Io Software
    AJA's Io family of products were co-developed with Apple for use with Final Cut Pro 5 for powerful video/audio capture, editing, and video productionуall in a single integrated system. Many Final Cut Pro features can be better utilized through use of Io products. Each member of the product family comes with special Final Cut Pro presets for ease of use.
    RGB support in the driver allows Io products to support the direct video output of applications like Adobe After Effects™, Apple Motion™ and Discreet Combustion™. A stand-alone control panel application allows you to control Io as an “everything in, everything out” frame synchronizer. Using the Control Panel, Io can be a stand-alone A/D converter, D/A converter, SDI audio mux/de-muxer, plus many other uses.

    AJA Io and Final Cut Pro
    If you're looking for a simple Final Cut Pro finishing station, look no further than the Io family of products. By plugging in all your video/audio equipment, connecting a single FireWire cable, and then running an installer CD, you can build and run a complete non-linear-editing workstation in only minutes. Final Cut Pro and Io are also easy to configure and operate. Rather than having to fill out endless configuration screens to match your system, Io and Final Cut allow you to choose simple customizable pre-built easy setup selections that specify your input/output and workflow format.
